Is the Xbox 360 as good as everyone says it is?

what kind of bugs and kinks does it have?

is it worth the extra hundered to buy the premium?

I just recently aquired my Xbox 360 and when we went to the store the man there warned me that the Xbox my overheat or scratch discs. Now I'm not sure why these things would happen it would seem to me as though Microsoft would make sure that all of these things would be accounted for before they released their product. Perhaps they rushed the launch in hopes of demoralizing Sony?

I get this all the time. Every system, computer, keyboard, console, monitor, software, will always have kinks on first launch. Always happens. The xbox 360 was not built to standards because it was rushed. The scratching the disk thing only happens when someone is stupid and turns the 360 over while still playing the game. Can you believe there are still people like that in this world. You will not have any problem if you treat it with proper care and use common sense. Treat it like your baby.

Is it worth the hundreds of dollars. My answer NO.

I think it is. Just give it time. A lot of what you are getting Legatus is the emulator software.

I am getting upset over how much the headsets suck, sometimes people can't join parties. It feels like, to me, that they could have made the system so much better, but the rushed it trying to beat the PS3. I might just get the PS3, and if I do, my 360 might be in the corner of my room collecting dust.

First of all about the parties and and the mike and the it got rushed bit, all true. Though remember your mike has its own problem because it is broken. The only problem with the mike that everyone has is when it is plugged in, it acts like it isnt and no one can hear you. Also something wasnt grounded so on the wired controllers you hear this high pitch whining sound.
